Hi there! My name is Alvin Wong, and I am currently a student at the University of Florida, majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. I'm a software developer with a passion for building accessible, human-centered products. I love building things that make a difference in people's lives, whether it be videogames, productivity tools, or websites!

UF IoT Competition

Placed 1st in the UF IoT Design Competition with our Nagamasou project, receiving $2000 in prize money.
First Internship
April 2024
Accepted my first internship at the Jacksonville Transportation Authority as as a Data Engineer .
UF Research Scholar
April 2024
Received a $1750 scholarship for ML research on transportation mode classification using cellular data.
First Full-Stack Website
January 2024
Completed a full-stack website (MERN) stack that allows users to share recipes, calculate and track calories.
Resident Assistant
August 2023
Became a resident assistant at UF, creating events to encourage community bonding.
